Kindly note that emails with no subject will be automatically disregarded. 1- EPG Coordinator: Description: EPG is Electroic Program Guide. The TV guide related to every satellite channel. It is mainly about data entry for the guide. Like TV program name and time. Position is responsible for the all aspects and day-to-day maintenance of the EPG. The position will: * Work closely with scheduling and programming satellite channels * Maintain relationships with EPG providers * Updates EPG as changes occur * Review daily online EPGs to ensure accuracy * Oversee titling and descriptions of episodes * Write and edit copy * Keep up-to-date on epg/scheduling best practices * Channel grouping *Test channels and make sure that they are working properly. REQUIRED SKILLS: * Must be proactive, detail oriented and extremely organized * Excellent verbal, writing and communication skills * Excellent spelling, vocabulary and grammar * An outgoing personality and team player * Ability to work under tight deadlines * Quick learner with an ability to handle multiple tasks * Highly motivated and strong work ethic * Excellent oral and written communications skills required * High-energy and ability to work well with all levels of employees, as well as creative and business people of all personality types * Previous marketing, television, or communications experience a big plus ____________ _________ _________ __ 2-Linux Administrator: Description: آ· Positions will work on Server Maintenance section آ· The specific tasks performed are routine maintenance and administration for our EPG (Electronic Program Guide) server and requires sufficient skills to obtain system administrator level privileges. Requirements * Solid understanding of UNIX based operating system.; TCP/IP networking; System and Network performance tuning, troubleshooting and security.* Ability to write programs in at least one of: Python, Perl, shell. Provide code examples.* Working Experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle. * Ability to solve problems quickly and completely, and document your solutions. Provide links to documentation you've written, if possible. * Strong inter-personal and communication skills. Must enjoy being part of a team, and be a team player. * Ability to identify recurring tasks which require automation and automate them. Occasionally be available for 24x7 on-call support. * Have substantial experience and depth of knowledge in at least one area of system administration, e.g., backups, monitoring, security, networking, performance tuning. * BS/BE in Computer Science of equivalent work experience. ____________ _________ _________ __ 3-Linux System Engineer: As Linux Systems Engineer, you† ll be responsible for successful integration, build, test and release of Linux Solutions to our Customers and the open source community. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional organization and have the ability to focus on integration, build, release and testing of software components. The candidate should also be skilled in programming and scripting and proactively leverage software skills and experience to resolve technical issues and to improve efficiency through automation.Responsibilities: * Integrate separate product components forming the solution. * Resolve complex integration problems requiring technical expertise and understanding. * Automate build & packaging activities and other daily tasks * Leverage Linux open source tools and applications to enable software releases * Work with cross functional teams of test, development and program management during all phases of the integration cycle. * Report issues and accurate project status to management Required skills: * Proven experience in integration. Previous experience with embedded solutions is a plus. * Strong Linux OS background, preferably with open source experience * Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.) * Strong problem solving skills * Must be organized, good with documentation, good time management * Must have good communications skills (oral and written) * Ability to relocate to Cairo, Egypt Desired Skills: * Experience with Linux open source tools and methodologies * Experience in object oriented design/architecture is a plus * Experience in embedded development/ integration/ build roles is a plus * Experience in an organization that uses a well-designed software process. * Capability Maturity Model experience is a plus. ____________ _________ _________ __ 4- Webmaster Job Description * The Webmaster implements web pages, maintains content and oversees day-to-day management of the company website, and assures quality and filing integrity of web pages.
